Storm Creek is seeking a motivated professional retail sales rep to join it's growing sales team. We're looking for individuals who would be given exclusive rights to agreed territories. To continue our growth in the resort, specialty outdoor retailers, and niche outfitter markets, we're offering an aggressive compensation plan and will provide additional details when appropriate.

Line Description: We are passionate, stylish, reliable, fun, inspiring, and caring. Driven by pursuit of the finest fabrics, design details, fit and performance, Storm Creek provides apparel of unmatched quality and value for all who love the outdoors. Its line includes both men's and women's performance pullovers, sweaterfleece, rainwear, and insulated jackets and vests. From design details to performance features, to the perfect fit, we are passionate about fabrics and high-quality details. We are committed to sustainability and responsible sourcing. The company produces product collections for both corporate, consumer, and retail markets throughout the United States.

States Available: Midwest - Ohio, Indiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri. West/Southwest - California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma. Southeast - Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, North & South Carolina, Georgia. Northeast - Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Road Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine.

General Requirements:

As an Independent Retail Sales Rep, you must be highly self-driven with an exceptional work ethic and a strong drive to succeed. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to superior customer service.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Successful track record in outdoor, resort, or retail apparel sales
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to generate business and build long-term customer relationships
  • Strong cold calling, networking, and appointment-setting skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to generate accurate quotes
  • Superior deal-closing skills
  • Regularly required to lift 50-75 lbs. of apparel samples to onsite visits
  • Responsible for scheduling onsite visits in order to build strategic relationships with resort, retail, and outfitter retail buyers
  • Must be willing to travel to industry trade shows and company headquarters

Storm Creek has been designing and developing technical outerwear and apparel for 20 years. Based in Hastings, MN, we have a nationwide customer-base in both retailers and promotional products distributors. We import our finished product from our longstanding factory partners overseas.
